THE GREAT HOGGAR

A combination of Assekrem and Tassili Hoggar, to discover these two major sites of Hoggar.

Fascinating contrast of landscapes: first week in camel treks and second with alternating walking and 4x4.

Course of the circuit :

1 ^{er day: welcome and transfer to the meeting place with the camel drivers. Bivouac.}

^{2 th to 7 th days: Trekking in the Atakor: identical to the Assekrem circuit.}

^{The caravan gains altitude as it crosses the Atakor from south to north. At the end of our journey, the ascent of the famous Assekrem and meeting with the white fathers who live at the hermitage of the father of Foucauld where the sunset is among the most beautiful in the Sahara.}

^{8 th day: With the 4x4 at the beginning of the afternoon transfer to Tamanrasset (dinner and overnight stay at the Auberge).}

^{9 th to 14 th days : The same route as that of the Tassili Hoggar circuit: superb walks in the sites of El-ghessour, Tin Akachaker, Tagrera, Taguelmam, etc ...}

^{15 th day: Visit of a Tamekrest waterfall and discovery of a Touareg camp and their way of life.}

^{Arrival in Tamanrasset in the early afternoon. City tour, dinner and overnight at the Auberge.}

^{16 th day: Transfer to the airport according to the time of the flight.}
